Imperial Knights painted by the FLG Paint Studio Even though Admech can definitely kill things, this is an objective based game for 9th edition and the points hike might have been a lot tougher to chew through for the robo bois. Thousand Sons also make a huge splash being the 2nd most submitted army at the event with Drukhari and Imperial Knights following them up with 6 lists each.Īn important thing to note here is how much the Dataslate really hurt Admech lists with not only 4 lists being submitted out of the entire event (that’s half of what was submitted for SoCal) the highest placement they received at New Orleans was only 23rd. After that we see the Orks taking a 22nd place finish with Seth Oster.Ĭomparing this to SoCal that had 4 Orks place into the top 25 (1st, 10th, 13th and 23rd) there’s just a slight downtick on Orks with obviously less planes than what we were seeing previously. The Orks keep coming to the tables with 10 lists being submitted really showing us how the Dataslate hit the army with only 1 of the 10 making it into the Top 8 with Mark Perry and the next highest placement being 12th with Mat Tweedel.
